DSR at Open Source Summit Europe 2026: Building Trust Between AI Agents

October 12th, 2026

DSR Corporation returned to Open Source Summit + Embedded Linux Conference Europe, held on October 7–9, 2026, in Prague, continuing its participation in the event and its dialogue with the international open-source community.

Organized by the Linux Foundation, the conference brought together developers, maintainers, and technology leaders to exchange ideas and explore developments across Linux, embedded systems, cloud infrastructure, digital trust, and AI. This year’s edition also celebrated 35 years of Linux.

Alexander Shcherbakov, Head of Digital Trust Labs at DSR, presented “Building Trust in the AI Era: Agent-to-Agent Communication with DIDs and VCs.” His session focused on the intersection of decentralized identity, verifiable credentials, and autonomous AI agents.

As agents become more autonomous, identity verification and secure communication become increasingly important architectural considerations. Alexander explored practical approaches to using decentralized identifiers (DIDs) and verifiable credentials (VCs) to support trusted interactions between agents.

The topic reflects the work of DSR Digital Trust Labs, which builds trusted systems across blockchain, decentralized identity, decentralized finance, fintech, and the agentic economy. The team supports projects from consulting and architecture through development and deployment, while actively contributing to open-source decentralized ecosystems and protocols.

A conference highlight for Alexander was the keynote conversation between Linus Torvalds, creator of Linux and Git, and Dirk Hohndel. Alongside reflections on Linux development and the origins of Git, the discussion explored AI’s role in programming. Alexander highlighted the potential of AI tools to make prototyping and personal projects more accessible, while emphasizing the continued importance of engineering expertise and responsibility in production systems.

Returning to Open Source Summit gives DSR an opportunity to share practical experience, learn from fellow contributors, and continue discussions about the technologies shaping open-source development.
